RowingLinks.com was originally established in 1995 as the "USA Collegiate Rowing Links" page, a directory of United States collegiate rowing web sites as part of the UC Davis Crew website. In early 1999, the site was expanded to encompass all rowing websites worldwide, and RowingLinks.com was born.

Today, RowingLinks.com serves as one of the most comprehensive and relevant rowing directories on the web, with links to 1199 rowing sites in 38 countries:
